I have seen some terrible movies in my life, lots of amateur movies made by cinema students... But this movie exceeds every parameter of a "bad movie" I had before. It sets it to a whole new level. Not only it's extremely boring and inconsistent, not only it's not scary or funny, it's the ultimate mishmash of cheap special effects and Walmart Freudian psychology.
The whole "Silent Hill" trip it's a girl's fantasy of saving her dad, entrapped by the evil sexualized creatures and surrounded by phallic symbols. Alessa's creepy moments and diabolic voice made me burst into laughter, the only mildly fun moment of the movie. "I AM EVIL INCARNATED MUAHAHA". Lame.
