Black book (Slavic mythology card game)

The graphics are interesting, and the whole game is voice acted which is not common for this kind of thing.

Even if it's a bit annoying that the writer assumes that you know things about Slavic mythology or he considers it too obvious to hint you like the fact that demons are attracted to households without the good habit of crossing the tableware (how barbaric!) or some inner narration inconsistencies such as a male demon in the lore appearing female in the game, the major problem is the difficulty of the gameplay itself- in simple words, it's broken.

Is either too easy or too hard, totally unbalanced, and the combat itself is quite repetitive. Maybe things would be more interesting if the enemies were challenging but not impossible, other games like Slay the Spire manage to do that just fine and I don't see why these Russians wouldn't. The story is promising nonetheless, clearly meant for the player to be corrupted by sin as the game progresses and thus failing the objective of getting Romeo out of hell 3.5/10
